Here are a few
encaustic paintings I did back in school, probably about 2010. They were done by melting crayons in tins, on a hot plate. It is pretty difficult to work with because it dries extremely quickly, but you can get some really cool layering and depth with it.
The layers get pretty muddy in the photos but they look awesome in person.
