Painting at Southside Harley-Davidson, Day 1 (Update 6/30)

Day one at Southside Harley-Davidson went really well despite the ~95 degree weather!
We got all of the detail work done, next we'll work inside and get all of the big areas filled in when we don't have to fight against the heat and wind.

Added 6/30, spent some more time adding details!

Paintamon #3: Oshawott

I've been trying to get back into more watercolor/gouache painting, but it's hard to do without a real goal. So, I am going to try to do a couple 30-60 minute Pokemon sketches a week to help get back in the hang of it.

If you thought I was going in any sort of order, I am not.

I'll take requests and if you would like the actual sketches, they will be available for just $5!
Email me at BenOlsonArt@gmail.com for availability or requests, or just drop a comment below!

Big thanks to Michael Olson for the "Paintamon" Logo!

Painting with Crayons - 2010

Here are a few encaustic paintings I did back in school, probably about 2010. They were done by melting crayons in tins, on a hot plate. It is pretty difficult to work with because it dries extremely quickly, but you can get some really cool layering and depth with it.

The layers get pretty muddy in the photos but they look awesome in person.

All of these are 12" x 12"
wax on panel

Stop Motion Final Project - 2008

This was a final project for Intro to Digital Imaging (or something like that) way back in 2008. I had completely forgotten about it until I came across it during some hard drive cleaning.
